History

1993	Kaiphone Communication Co., Ltd. was established in Taipei. Pioneering product: products made by metal wire/strip forming. Developed and stepped up new facilities to expand the production of metal flexible tube for the application on public payphone. Kaiphone was commissioned by clients for OEM payphone handset sequentially. After that, assorted OEM products related to payphone were developed gradually.
1997	The first branching production site was established in Guang- dong province of China. Initial assignment was producing the products of public payphone.
2000	Kaiphone obtained the certification of ISO 9001 for its quality system. New equipments were launched for producing smaller metal flexible tubes to protect fiber optic and bigger diameters for the application on power distribution for industry, building, electronics products, etc....and for shower tube, sink flush tube, etc. as well.
2002	Dongguan Kaiphone Technology Co., Ltd. was found at the same location of Guangdong production site. To comply with market demands, Kaiphone started to apply product certification for metal flexible tube against different market sand different standards.
2003	Kaiphone upgraded certification for its quality system by obtaining ISO 9001: 2000.
2004	Metal flexible tubes were approved by UL1 standard.
2005	Metal flexible tubes and its series products were approved by UL514B, CE and CCS standards in this year.
2006	Kaiphone further got NSF certification for metal flexible tubes. Launching development of Gas Tube and EGR tubes.
2007	Kaiphone changed CIS and head office renamed as Kaiphone Technology Co., Ltd. in this year for meeting its future developing trend and new enterprise spirit. New production site in Zhejiang province was in plan.Invested and found EGR product department formally and certified by TS16949 quality system at the end of this year. Metal flexible tubes were approved by TÜV EN1113:1997 further.
2008	New production site in Zhejiang province had groundbreaking in March and will be finished at the end of November. The mass production will be launched in year 2009. Launching development of interlock type of gooseneck tube.
2009	The mass production was initiated in Zhejiang factory from October. Products: Metal Flexible Tubes, Assembly of Shower Hose, Armored Fiber Optic Cables.
2010	Relocating Taipei headquarter to Tucheng District at the end of year 2010.
2014	KAIFLEX is from the technic of metal Flexible conduit that Kaiphone has worked hard for. KAIFLEX link the firm past and creative future, intensifying the technic development to bring total solution and creating a service system closer to clients.
2017	Join the Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association
2018	Explosion proof flexible coupling series were approved by UL 1203 standard and get the 3rd place of UL certified manufacturer on this product.
2019	Involve the field of robotic industry and released the new product -- Dresspack Systems & Accessories.
2020-2022	The world has experienced the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Economic activities have slowed down, office work has been transformed to work from home and business visit has changed from travel to video meeting.
2023	New production site in Anhui province, China had groundbreaking in June and will be finished in 2024. The mass production will be launched in 2025. Start planning for the production factory in Malaysia.
